Synopsis of The Big Heat

A police officer committed suicide, and detective Dave (Glenn Ford) was ordered to investigate this strange case. Everything was proceeding normally according to procedure. When the case was about to be concluded, a woman suddenly appeared. She claimed that she had evidence to prove that the policeman did not commit suicide but died of murder.
