Synopsis of Of Love and Shadows
The story takes place in Chile in the 1970s, where the dictator's arbitrariness and tyranny made the people here live in dire straits. Francesca (Antonio Banderas) is an underground revolutionary worker who disguises himself as a photographer and wants to overthrow the regime by obtaining evidence of the dictator's violent rule. By chance, Francesca met a woman named Irina (Jennifer Connelly), a reporter for a fashion magazine. Her beauty and independence soon attracted her. Ranziska noticed that as time passed, the two people who were in love gradually came together. However, Elena already has a boyfriend, and her boyfriend is a secret policeman. In this way, Francesca and Elena started a game of walking on the edge of a knife for their love.
