Synopsis of Battleship

NASA discovered an Earth-like planet outside the solar system in 2005 and judged that there may be intelligent life on it. In order to make contact with extraterrestrial intelligence, NASA launched the "Lighthouse Project" to activate a deep space communication array base in Hawaii and transmit high-power signals to it for testing. A few years later, an alien spacecraft arrived unexpectedly. The Pacific Combined Naval Exercise Fleet in Hawaii was ordered to make contact. The guided missile destroyer and two other warships where the male protagonist Navy Lieutenant Alex (Taylor Kitsch) is located are used as a reconnaissance team and are ordered to contact alien ships.
