Synopsis of The Doors

This film faithfully chronicles the life of Jim Morrison (played by Val Kilmer), the soul lead singer of the Doors, a representative American psychedelic rock band in the 1960s, from fame to self-destruction. In film school, Morrison met Ray Manzak, a keyboard player who liked to play the piano. The two hit it off and decided to form a rock band that shocked the world: The Doors. Soon, Morrison found two other band members here: drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robbie Craig. Soon, the Doors became famous with "Light My Fire", and thousands of fans went crazy for it. Although Morrison has a lot of aura of money and fame, he has never been truly understood by anyone. Some people think of him as a poet and artist, while others regard him as a madman and a drug addict. The 27-year-old Morrison finally chose death to end this unparalleled personal legend.
