Synopsis of Chesapeake Shores Season 1
The story takes place in a small town along the Chesapeake Bay (Chesapeake Shores) in Maryland. The three O’Brien brothers designed and founded the town themselves, and this Irish-American family became the most important force in the local area. However, as internal conflicts intensified, the family eventually fell apart. Years later, the family is reunited, but they have to recall the painful experiences of the past while facing an uncertain future. They soon discover that learning to get along is a very important thing. Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory) is a high-powered career woman, divorced and living alone with a pair of twin daughters. She returns to her hometown of Chesapeake Bay from New York to visit relatives, which forces her to face her past again - including her high school sweetheart Trace (Jesse Metcalfe), her stubborn and old-fashioned father Mick (Treat Williams), and her respected grandmother Nell ( Diane Ladd). Abby realizes that her career prevents her from being a successful mother, so she considers staying at home permanently...
