Synopsis of The Green Planet

The show is the first documentary to focus on plants through an immersive presentation, showing viewers this low-key, secret, and unknown world of plants. They can form mutually beneficial relationships with animals, but they can also be as aggressive, competitive, and dramatic as any creature on our planet. They will fight deadly battles with competitors, animals, and the elements for light, space, nutrients, and the opportunity to reproduce their families. 　　This film shows new discoveries spanning more than 20 years, while revealing the closely connected world of plants. Professional cameras give us the ability to surpass the human eye and observe closer and deeper than ever before. 　　Brand-new stories, unprecedented plant and animal behaviors, and surprising heroes take you to see the earth from the perspective of plants.
