Synopsis of The Killing of a Chinese Bookie

Cosmo Vitelli is a simple man who served as a veterinarian in the Korean War and is also a gambler. He owns a strip joint in California called CrazyHorseWest. When we met him, he was paying off his last gambling debt. Soon after, Vitelli lost another $23,000 in an illegal card game. This time his debtor was no longer friendly and forced him to pay off the debt immediately or kill a Tang agent to pay off the debt. The film ends with Cosmo Vitelli standing alone on the lonely street outside the nightclub and starting to stroke his injured and bleeding abdomen.
