Synopsis of Bamboo Blade

The story takes place in Muroe High School. As the consultant of the kendo club, Ishida Torushi (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi) lives a lazy life fishing in troubled waters every day. In his opinion, kendo, a sport that should be exciting, is just a group of people. It's just a little kid's fight. The arrival of an opportunity changed Ishida's life. In order to win free sushi for a year in the bet, Ishida decided to cheer up and work hard to win the kendo competition. If you want to regroup, you must open the door to recruit talents. Kawazoe Tamahime (voiced by Hirohashi Ryo), who is short but full of sense of justice; Chiba Kirino (voiced by Toyoguchi Emi), who is cheerful and unrestrained and very enthusiastic about kendo sports; Miyagi, who looks like a bad girl but is actually a wealthy lady Sakito (voiced by Noriko Kuwashima); Kuwahara Sheiko, a ghost club member with a somewhat reckless personality (voiced by Sachiko Kojima).
