Synopsis of Leaving

Susanna (Kristin Scott Thomas) is a middle-aged woman with an excellent life. Her husband is a well-known dentist and is slowly getting involved in political career. She has a pair of well-behaved children who are just teenagers. She was in need of care and was trying to get back into her career as a physical therapist. This life seemed to last forever, but everything fell apart with the arrival of Ivan (Sergi López). Ivan is a Spanish construction worker who works everywhere. He met Susanna when she was helping her family expand their studio. Soon, Susanna had an inexplicable desire for Ivan. She followed him to Spain under the pretext of detecting wounds, and soon a passionate love affair started. Passion. The two could not stop meeting in secret until Susanna decided to abandon her wife and elope with Ivan, completely ignoring her angry husband who would use all political connections to cut off her financial resources...
