Synopsis of The Man from Hong Kong
The Australian police received a report and learned that someone was carrying out drug trafficking activities. They arrested a Chinese drug dealer from Hong Kong, Wen Zhan (played by Sammo Hung), in Sydney. Because the drug dealer who worked with Wen Zhan died in a car crash while escaping, and Wen Zhan refused to reveal the mastermind behind it, the Australian police handed him over to Hong Kong Inspector Fang Shing Ling (played by Wang Yu) for investigation. Under Fang Shengling's torture to extract a confession, Wen Zhan finally revealed that the man behind the scenes was the business tycoon Wilton. On the way to the court, Wen Zhan was shot dead by a professional killer sent by Wilton. Later, Fang Shengling found Wilton with the help of an Australian female reporter and found the Red Dragon Martial Arts Hall mark on Wilton's bodyguard. Fang Shengling went to the martial arts hall alone to investigate, went deep into the tiger's den, and finally brought Wilton to justice.
