Synopsis of The Son Season 1
Pierce Brosnan replaces Sam Neill in AMC's ten-episode drama "The First Son of Texas." This is Brosnan's return to the small screen as a male protagonist after more than 30 years in the 1982 detective series "The Legend of Steele." The play is adapted from Philip Meyer's novel of the same name, and Meyer will serve as one of the screenwriters. The series revolves around the legendary rise and fall of a Texas family in the United States. It will start filming in Austin, Texas this month and will be broadcast next year.
