Synopsis of OMG: Oh My God!

Kanjie (Paresh Rawal), an antique dealer who sells Buddha statues, is an atheist. He regards Buddha statues as toys and does not understand those gimmicky religious rituals. He hopes to train his daughter to be a pilot and his son to be a cricket player. The antique shop held all his hopes and emotions. One day during a lively sacrificial ceremony, Kanjie made a joke on God in order to drag his son back from participating in the activity. The leader of the sect warned him that he would suffer retribution from God. The weather suddenly turned from sunny to cloudy that day, causing an earthquake. No other shops were damaged, but Kanjie's shop was shaken beyond recognition. Kanjie, who thought he could recover his losses by taking out insurance, was told by the insurance company that this was a force majeure natural disaster and was not covered by insurance. Kanjie, who had nothing left, took God to court with a petition. The defendants are the sect leaders who make money in the name of gods.
