Synopsis of Watership Down

A rabbit foresees the future and discovers that the entire rabbit herd is about to face annihilation. It and its friend Hazel (voiced by John Hurt) come to the leader and warn the leader that he should take the rabbit herd and move his family. The leader did not believe what the two little rabbits said. In desperation, Rabbit and Hazel had no choice but to take a few other male rabbits who believed what they said and embarked on a journey to find their own way out. After a long journey and countless critical moments of life and death, a group of rabbits finally arrived at Watership Wilderness. This vast land will become their home for multiplication. However, the problem came. Without female rabbits, they would not be able to raise offspring. The only outcome waiting for all the rabbits was to be wiped out. So, the rabbits tried their best and finally succeeded in bringing back a group of female rabbits. However, the story does not end there.
