When the magazine was on the verge of bankruptcy, Young unexpectedly received a call from a well-known New York gossip magazine, asking him to come over and work. Entering a new environment, Yang still adheres to his principles. He refuses to change the draft according to the wishes of the upper class, yells at his boss about "freedom of the press", and refuses to flatter emerging directors... During the stumbling blocks in the workplace, Yang develops a relationship with his female colleague Allison (Kirsten Dunst), and is favored by the new female star Sophie (Megan Fox).
