# Synopsis of Saints & Strangers

[Introduction]: The National Geographic Channel TV movie (four-hour miniseries) "Saints & Strangers" describes the origin of the United States - in 1620, 35 British religious separatists (Separatist Puritans) who pursued religious freedom. He boarded the Mayflower with 14 indentured slaves, 53 craftsmen, fishermen, poor farmers, adventurers, and criminals and set sail from Princeton Port to the North American continent. After 66 days of difficult sailing, they arrived at their destination. The moment they saw the "New World", everyone on the Mayflower was relieved. The Secession Puritans believed that in the "New World" they would be able to freely express their religious beliefs and create a new social order based on this. But for these travelers who have just overcome the challenges of disease, extreme evil and death, their journey has just begun - cultural differences, climate issues, conflicts with indigenous people, questions about beliefs and ideologies, and every moment... Every moment is testing their perseverance and determination. But they eventually overcame all challenges and established the first colony in North America, which became known as "...
