Synopsis of An Empress and the Warriors

During the battle between Yan and Zhao, King Yan was seriously injured, and General Murong Xuehu (played by Donnie Yen) was ordered to take over. Yan Shuai (played by Guo Xiaodong) was jealous and resentful, so he killed the king to seek the throne. The king died tragically, and the whole country mourned. According to the king's last wish, he wanted to pass the emperor's throne to General Murong, but Yan Shuai had many obstacles. In desperation, the throne of the king can only be passed on to the princess Yan Fei'er (Kelly Chen) who holds the Yan's national treasure - the Flying Swallow Blade. General Murong devoted himself to his duty and trained Yan Fei'er with all his strength. Unexpectedly, the princess disappeared mysteriously, and General Feihu was blamed. Yan Fei'er was chased by the killers sent by Yan Shuai and was poisoned by an arrow. Fortunately, she was rescued by the hermit Duan Lanquan (played by Liming) and was unable to return to the camp for a while. At this time, Yan Shuai eliminated all dissidents and wanted to establish himself as king. Soon after Yan Fei'er returned to camp, Zhao soldiers were attacking, but Commander Yan wanted to seek the king's seal and did not move. There were strong enemies in front of them, and rebellious ministers were watching behind them. The princess led the generals to capture Zhao Wang and his son alive, but let them return to Zhao Kingdom. Yan Shuai failed to claim the throne and was punished. Yan Fei'er gave up the throne just before he ascended the throne. After being passed down by Murong Xuehu, he returned to the mountains to find Duan Lanquan and lived a life like a couple of gods. Yan Shuai did not give up, and another bloody storm enveloped the precarious Yan Kingdom...
