Synopsis of The Three Musketeers

The story takes place in France in the 17th century. The Cardinal Richelieu (Charlton Heston) wanted to seek power and usurp the throne, and set up many conspiracies. D'Artagnan (Michael York) wanted to serve his motherland, so he went to Paris to join the Musketeers. In the process, d'Artagnan met Athos (Oliver Reed), Porthos (Frank Finlay) and Aramis (Richard Chamberlain), The four of them didn't know each other without fighting, and they became sworn friends. By chance, d'Artagnan learned of Richelieu's conspiracy. In order to eliminate the root cause, Richelieu designed d'Artagnan to be sentenced to death. Fortunately, he was rescued by three musketeers, and d'Artagnan picked up the weapon. His life was restored. Afterwards, the four rescued the king from the assassin's gun and declared war on Richelieu, who kidnapped the king and queen.
