Synopsis of The House Next Door

This is not the first time that the Golden Horse Fantasy Film Festival has introduced Indian ghost films. But this one is so special. It digests the scary techniques of Hollywood horror movies and is better than the previous one. It also comes from the real experience of the director's friend, which makes it even more terrifying. The story is set in the picturesque Himalayas. A doctor and his wife, who are in love with each other, move next door to a family of five. The eldest daughter among them is behaving strangely. The hero kindly recommends a psychiatrist for help, but the daughter is possessed by a ghost herself, so everyone seeks help. Come to a priest to perform an exorcism. In fact, the purpose of this exorcism was to appease no one, but no one believed it. Unexpectedly, the casual attitude attracted the evil ghost's revenge. Not only was a real exorcism necessary, but the dark past hidden in this mansion was also revealed. ⋯⋯. The narrative that has been reversed several times is very addictive, and the mastery of the atmosphere and rhythm is also remarkable. Director Milindraw attempted to overturn the public's established impression of Bollywood films, successfully blending "The Master" and "The House of Darkness" without losing his own characteristics.
