Synopsis of Warrior Season 1

Cinemax announced that it has ordered the pilot "Warrior" to be executive produced and directed by Justin Lin, and written by Jonathan Tropper, the creator of "Banshee", and inspired by the project written by Bruce Lee. The pilot is set in San Francisco's Chinatown after the American Civil War; "Dragon Warrior" tells the story of a young martial arts master from China who finds himself involved in a bloody war in Chinatown. "Dragon Warrior" was a project that Bruce Lee spent many years researching during his lifetime, but was not produced or published in the end. It was his daughter Li Xiangning who discovered a large number of manuscripts related to the project when she was packing up his belongings. Later, she co-produced it in 2015. The studio sells the program to Cinemax.
