Synopsis of wilde

It is adapted from the real experience of Oscar Wilde, a pioneering writer of aestheticism in the 19th century. Wilde (Stephen Fry) has been extensively involved in poetry, drama, fairy tales, novel creation, and literary criticism throughout his life. His conversation is humorous and his works are full of wit. British Prime Minister Churchill once said that the person he would most like to have a long conversation with in the next life is Wilde. In London at that time, almost every one of Wilde's plays was a sensational success on the stage, and his popularity was unprecedented. However, Wilde's literary career was completely destroyed later, all due to an encounter between him and Count Douglas Posey (Jude Law). Wilde was not only imprisoned for "sodomy", but also suffered reputational damage. His wife had no choice but to take her two sons away and change their surnames.
