Synopsis of Curious George

The film is adapted from the children's book story "Curious Little Monkey George". This cute little monkey was created by Margaret and H.A. Ray. Ted, the museum tour guide, loves his job, and his knowledgeable and enthusiastic explanation wins over Maggie, the beautiful female teacher who brings the students here to visit. However, the old director announced a sad news: due to too few visitors, the museum was facing closure, and the only way to save it was to launch a novel exhibit that had never been seen before in other museums. The old curator showed Ted a mysterious diary with a map, which showed the location of a lost sacred tomb of the Zangwa tribe in Africa. As long as a large statue of the god was brought back from it, the museum would be saved. Ted set out for Africa on a ship. After arriving in the jungle, he found the ancient statue shown on the map, but it was not as grand as the old curator had described. At this moment, a naughty little monkey became interested in Ted and followed him. When Ted left Africa, the little monkey quietly followed the ship. After returning to China, Ted experienced homelessness and unemployment one after another. He became dependent on the little monkey and named it George. Can Ted finally find the legendary idol? Can the museum continue to exist?
