Synopsis of War of the Worlds

Ray Ferrell (Tom Cruise) divorced his wife, and his son and daughter lived with their mother - because of his playfulness, laziness and neglect of responsibilities, the family was so fragmented. The disaster of an alien invasion allowed them to re-establish a close relationship. The wife was busy that day, so she had to leave the children to Lei to take care of her. The sky was dark with lightning and thunder, and everything seemed strange. Sure enough, a huge three-legged aircraft suddenly appeared on the road, and the evil Martians visited this originally peaceful town. People fled in all directions, and Lei Ye took his daughter to run for his life and began a life and death adventure. The authorities tried their best to deal with the aliens, but failed repeatedly, and the whole world fell into panic. With the instinct of paternal love, the usually idle father became brave and strong, and protecting his children became his motivation and belief to support him.
