Synopsis of Moebius

There are no lines in the entire movie, and all the characters have no names. The wife (played by Lee Eun-woo) learned the fact that her husband (played by Jo Jae-hyun) had an affair, while the son (played by Seo Young-soo) witnessed the erotic scene of his father and the wife of the grocery store owner (played by Lee Eun-woo) having sex in the car. The grief-stricken wife tried to castrate her sleeping husband but failed. Out of anger, she pointed the butcher knife at her son. Amidst the screams, a family was completely broken. The husband sent his son to the hospital, and the wife ran away from home. Missing. Time flies, dragging his incomplete body, the son slowly grows up, and he finds his father's lover. The relationship between the two is tense and ambiguous. A group of gangsters broke into a grocery store, raped the proprietress and forced her son to submit. After the incident was revealed, the son was imprisoned. The father discovered that rubbing the skin with stones could produce a pleasure similar to sexual intercourse. He taught this method to his son in prison. Between pain and desire, his son's character gradually became distorted.
