Synopsis of Major Crimes Season 1

Ledo (played by Mary McDonnell) is the new boss of the Los Angeles Police Department's Major Crime Unit. She has three talents in taking office. She has always acted vigorously and resolutely, hoping to turn the Major Crime Unit into a better one according to her own vision. A place that is warmer, more united, and more humane. However, the first problem Ledo has to face is how to gain the trust of her unique subordinates, especially the agent named Provenza (G.W. Bailey), who is too conceited. His personality has already caused trouble for Ledo. At this juncture, a disgusting convenience store robbery occurred in the city. This is a great opportunity for Ledo to show her ability and gain the trust of her colleagues. Can she seize this golden opportunity? Will her subordinates obey her instructions?
