Synopsis of We Children from Bahnhof Zoo

The film is set in Germany in the 1970s. It tells the story of a 14-year-old girl who went from drug abuse to prostitution, and then gradually fell into depravity. Christiana (played by Natja Brunckhorst), who is under 14 years old, comes from a divorced family. She lives with her mother and sister in an apartment in West Berlin. At that time, young people went to a local disco called "Sound" to play. Accompanied by her friends, she also entered this psychedelic world as a minor. Here, she met the young Detlef and his friends. At night, a group of them often wandered the streets together. Gradually, she fell in love with Detlef and tried to take LSD with him. In order to get money to buy drugs, Detlef would go to a place called the "Zoo" to find people for prostitution. Christiana was initially unwilling to do such a thing to Detlef, but later she began to inject drugs herself and began to come to the "zoo". The young girl Christiana is walking step by step towards the abyss of psychedelic depravity... This film is adapted from the personal experience of a young girl, Christiana F.
