Synopsis of The Black Stallion

Director Carol Ballard, famous for "A Hundred Thousand Miles Home", is a blockbuster film. It uses a dramatic lyrical style to describe a boy who drifted to a desert island with a black horse in a shipwreck at the same time. The man and the horse established an extraordinary relationship as two persons. Later, they were rescued and returned to human society. By chance, they met an old equestrian coach and were trained to become outstanding racehorses and young jockeys, winning the championship in a competition. The photography of the entire film is extremely beautiful and moving, especially the scene where the then child star Kelly Reno plays with the black horse on the beach. The audio-visual effects show the ultimate beauty of nature. The horse trainer played by Mickey Rooney also plays an important role in the film. The triangular interaction between an old man, a young man and the horse bursts with touching sparks, which can be called a first-class masterpiece of its kind.
