Synopsis of Unthinkable

Former US military special forces bomb expert Stephen Arthur Young (played by Michael Sheen) is heading on a dangerous path. As a Muslim, he is dissatisfied with the US policy towards Arab countries, so he plans to launch terrorist attacks. He claimed that three small atomic bombs were planted in three cities, and that the mainland of the United States was in danger. FBI Anti-Terrorism Department female agent Helen Brody (Carrie-Anne Moss) is responsible for investigating the case, but at a critical juncture she discovered that the military and a mysterious department were involved. Her team, together with the extremely dangerous negotiator Henry Humphreys (Samuel L. Jackson), was ordered to interrogate Stephen. Henry, nicknamed H, is cruel and cruel, and with the connivance of high-level government officials, he becomes more and more emboldened. Helen was disgusted by such inhumane and illegal methods. She tried her best to win Stephen's trust and finally got him to reveal the location of one of the bombs.
