Synopsis of The Rook

Starz science fiction drama, adapted from the 2012 Australian Aurealis Award for "Best Science Fiction Novel". It tells the story of a woman who woke up and found six corpses lying next to her, each wearing latex gloves. The heroine had lost her memory. Based on the clues she left behind, the heroine peeled off the cocoons step by step to find out the truth, and there were seven people who betrayed the heroine: a hundred-year-old vampire with extraordinary intelligence, a combat master who controls four bodies with one head, and a man who can manipulate metal. A soldier who can emit poisonous mist from his skin, a public relations consultant who can twist his body at will, a chess queen who can enter other people's dreams, and an invulnerable chess master.
