Synopsis of What Women Want

Nick (Mel Gibson) is a small manager of an advertising company in Chicago and a typical male chauvinist. He is even more dissatisfied with his new female boss Darcy (Helen Hunt). Darcy asked Nick to design a creative advertisement for women's products, which gave Darcy a headache. Inadvertently, Nick received an electric shock in his bathroom. This accident gave him a magical ability - mind reading. With this unexpected gain, Nick can now easily know what the women around him are thinking. He gradually became addicted to this, and was surprised to find that Darcy had always had a crush on him. Therefore, Nick decided to take advantage of Darcy's worries and tease her. He tried every means to get close to Darcy and please her, but he didn't know that he was falling in love. Since learning about women's inner world, this grown man finally realized their beauty and fell in love with his incompatible female boss.
