Synopsis of Inkheart

Maggie (Eliza Bennett) is a 12-year-old girl living in Germany. She and her father Amo (Brendan Fraser) have each other. Mother Lysa (played by Sienna Guillory) mysteriously disappeared when Maggie was still in her infancy. For more than ten years, Amo has maintained the lives of father and daughter by decorating old books. Maggie is curious about her mother's whereabouts, while her father remains silent. The lonely little girl wanders in the sea of books every day, letting her thoughts fly. One night, a dirty and evil guy (played by Paul Bettany) broke into the father and daughter's home. Amo and his daughter fled in panic to the home of their aunt Eleanor (played by Helen Mirren). At this time, Maggie finally learned that her mother was missing. The real reason and the magical abilities that my father possesses. It turns out that Amo can bring the characters in the book into the real world through reading, and this is the beginning of the disaster...
