Synopsis of Anchors Aweigh
Joseph (Gene Kelly) is a naval soldier. In an accident, he saved a man named Clay (Frank Sinatra). Joseph's heroic feat gave him a four-day vacation, which meant that Joseph could finally go to Hollywood to see his long-awaited girlfriend there. Joseph wanted to enjoy a sweet time with his girlfriend, but Kress followed him shamelessly, which made Joseph feel very crazy. The appearance of Dane, a homeless little boy, eased the atmosphere between the two. Gradually, Joseph and Cress became close friends. One day, Kress met Susan (Kathryn Grayson), a singer who sang there, in a nightclub, and he fell in love. Helpless, Susan fell in love with the handsome and tall Joseph.
