Synopsis of The Plot Against America

Winona Ryder, John Turturro, Anthony Bowie ("Derry Girls"), Zoe Kazan, Morgan Specter ("Person of Interest"), Edge Robertson ([Beyond] The Night of Life and Death]) will star in HBO's six-episode limited series "The Plot Against America." The play is adapted from the novel of the same name published by Philip Roth in 2004. The story takes the perspective of a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey and tells the story of Charles Lindbergh, an American pilot who openly supports the Nazis and is anti-Semitic, and how he will pursue his career after he successfully rises in politics and becomes president. Fascism and the persecution of Jews in America. David Simon and Ed Burns serve as executive producers.
