Synopsis of That Darn Cat

Sixteen-year-old Patty (Christina Ricci) is at her rebellious age. With her arrogant personality, she doesn't look down on anyone. The only thing she cares about and loves is a dog she raises named "DC". pet cat. Whenever night falls, the free-spirited DC will sneak out of the door. In an accident, it visits the scene of a kidnapping case. The victim regarded DC as the last straw and left the watch engraved with the distress message on DC's body. Soon, Patty discovered the mysterious distress signal. She reported the news to the local police station, but was kicked out as a prank. In anger, Patty came to Boston to look for the FBI detective. In order to get rid of this little devil, the police station appointed the confused detective Reggie (played by Doug E. Doug) to take charge of the case. A man, a woman and a cat began their thrilling investigation.
