Synopsis of Ordinary high school girls want to be local idols

The story takes place in Rukawa City, a city with beautiful scenery and simple folk customs. Usami Nanako (voiced by Ito Mirai) is an ordinary female high school student living there. The city's new swimming pool is about to be completed and open for business. It would be better for Nanako and her friends to play together when the time comes. Nanako wanted a new swimsuit, but the price was too high. She had to ask her mother for help. However, her mother rejected Nanako's request. For a moment, Nanako felt helpless. At this juncture, Nanako's uncle Ohta (voiced by Murozono Joyu), who works in the city hall, found a job for Nanako. Nanako can use the money earned from part-time work to buy a swimsuit! In this way, by accident, Nanako became a local idol in Rukawa City, and started a series of publicity and performance activities in this capacity.
