Synopsis of The Spanish Princess Season 1

Starz has announced in the past that it will shoot a limited series "The Spanish Princess", a sister series of "The White Queen" and "The White Princess", with Charlotte Hope playing the heroine. The play is adapted from the novels "The Constant Princess" and "The King's Curse" written by Philippa Gregory and is now scheduled to premiere on May 8, US time. The protagonist of "The Spanish Princess" is "Catherine of Aragon" (played by Charlotte Hope). She is beautiful, smart and comes from the Spanish royal family. Due to a political marriage, she brought Lina, a Moorish lady official, to the UK and married Prince of Wales Arthur. As a result, the heroine became the Princess of Wales. However, Arthur died of illness before the two had their wedding.
