Synopsis of Hansel & Gretel

Because his mother is sick, young man Lee Eun-soo (played by Chun Jung-myung) drives home, but encounters a car accident on the way and flips to the side of the road. When he woke up from a coma, he found an angelic girl (played by Shim Eun-kyung) standing in front of him. Under the guidance of the girl named Yingji, Eun-soo then came to the girl's home deep in the jungle. It was a large, dreamy and gorgeous house that looked like it came out of a fairy tale book. It was filled with all kinds of exquisite and lovely ornaments. Here live Yingji, her parents, brother Wanbok (played by Eun Wonjae) and sister Zhenshun (played by Chen Jixi). Eun-soo, who was tired and in pain, didn't notice anything the same at first, but he soon discovered that such a beautiful fairy tale had become a barrier that could never be escaped... The film won the Special Jury Award at the 2009 Portugal Fantasy International Film Festival.
