Synopsis of The Endless Summer

This is a sports documentary about surfing. Two young men from California, Robert August and Mike Hynson took a trip around the world to find their perfect wave. He has traveled all over Hawaii, West Africa, and Australia. Some real surfers also worked on the film. The film is full of the atmosphere of the mid-1960s. Not only can people see the attire of surfers at that time, but they can also learn about the housing and fuel problems of the third world. Although thirty years later, these are already outdated, director Bruce Brown's unique narrative technique makes the film still a masterpiece. As the journey of the two young people continued to deepen, we fully appreciated the beauty of nature. At the same time, the collisions and conflicts between various cultures also unfolded before our eyes. Maybe this is what the director really wants to convey.
