Synopsis of The Hippopotamus

Directed by John Jenks and adapted from the novel of the same name by Stephen Fry. Frustrated poet Ted Wallace is invited by his friend Logan to stay at his country estate for a while. Due to some strange things happening at the manor recently, Ted begins to investigate the reasons why things happened. David Logan, a 15-year-old boy, seems to the Logans to have a pair of hands with healing powers. The Logans prepared to disclose David's talent to the guests at the party, but Ted used some strange methods to prove that those strange things were actually a hoax, thus saving David from the embarrassing situation later.
