Synopsis of A League of Their Own

The story takes place during World War II. Walter (Garry Marshall) was a once-popular baseball star. Now, he has long been relegated to the second line and decided to form an unprecedented women's baseball team. He takes an eye on the beautiful and tall Dolly (Geena Davis), and Dolly's sister Kit (Lori Petty) also follows in her sister's footsteps and joins the team. After that, the addition of capable players such as Marla (Megan Cavanagh) instantly enhanced the team's strength. After several setbacks, Walter's "Women's Army" gradually gained recognition from the sports world. However, at such a critical moment, internal strife broke out in the baseball team. Marla and Kit left the team, and Walter also had the idea of giving up. Just then, the return of Dolly's husband Bob (Bill Pullman) who was away on the battlefield gave the baseball team new hope.
