Synopsis of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

A steel monster named "Kabane" suddenly appeared in human society, causing huge panic. Humans who have been attacked by them will have the ability to come back to life, and they will also start attacking the same kind. Under the fierce attack of monsters, human society soon fell apart. The surviving people established "posts" in the city, relying on each other to communicate with each other and survive. The only means of transportation between the stations is armored steam locomotives. Ikoma (voiced by Yu Hatanaka) is a passionate young man who specializes in steam forging. He invented the weapon "Guan Tu", hoping to contribute his own strength to the elimination of Kabane. By chance, Ikoma met a mysterious girl (voiced by Senbongi Ayaka).
