Synopsis of The Changeling

Composer and music conservatory professor John Russell (played by George C. Scott) spent the holidays with his wife and daughter, but a sudden car accident claimed the lives of his wife and daughter. Lonely and sad, John left New York and came to teach at a university in Seattle. He found an old house in the local area that had been vacant for 12 years. Although it was dilapidated, the quiet environment was exactly where John and his music were created. But after moving in, he discovered that strange sounds would come from the house every morning around 6 o'clock. Soon after, John was even more horrified to realize that there was actually a child's ghost living in the house. At the ghost's suggestion, John began to consciously explore the secrets hidden behind this house...
