Synopsis of Some Came Running

The background of the story is a small town in the American Midwest after World War II. A writer returned to his hometown in Illinois, where he met a gambler struggling on the edge of death. The two of them wandered around, trying to bring the town back to life. , he met a slutty and sexy woman and fell in love with him, reflecting his journey from longing for fame to awakening. The whole film has a strong literary flavor, as if the writer has more psychological research cases than a dramatic story, but director Vincent.
