WGNAmerica launches a documentary about the former Underground Railroad, a network of secret routes and shelters in the United States in the 19th century that helped African-American slaves escape to free states and Canada and was supported by abolitionists and sympathizers. The play "Underground", starring Aldis Hodge, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Christopher Meloni, Alano Miller, Jessicade Gouw and Amirah Vann, tells the story of a group of plantation slaves who unite to fight for their families, their futures and their personal freedom. A story of struggle with life. Each poster provides a clue to the character's personality in this epic story of escape for freedom.
