Synopsis of Closing the Ring

A ring records the sincere and pure feelings between the beautiful girl Ethel (Shirley MacLaine) and the handsome boy Teddy (Stephen Amell). Soon after, Teddy was ordered to To complete a flight mission, before leaving, he entrusted the woman he loved to their mutual friend Jack (Christopher Plummer). Ethel's heart was broken by Teddy's never coming back. After learning that her lover could never come back to her, she was heartbroken and married Jack. In the blink of an eye, fifty years later, Ethel has become a mother, but the relationship between her and her daughter Mary (Neve Campbell) is not harmonious. Over the years, Ethel has never forgotten Teddy, but she just buried this strong feeling deep in her heart. A strange young man brought the ring that once recorded the promise between Ethel and Teddy. As the ring was lost and recovered, Ethel's inner emotions finally exploded.
