Synopsis of Vantage Point

In response to the increasingly rampant terrorism after 9/11, U.S. President Henry Ashton (William Hurt) and the heads of Western countries and Arab countries have met in Salamanca, Spain, where they will form a new anti-terrorist alliance. It was a sunny day and the square was crowded with people from different social backgrounds, making it extremely noisy. President Ashton's motorcade arrived amidst cheers and opposition. Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid), a senior agent who was shot six months ago while protecting the President, rushed to the front, alertly Monitor all suspicious people from around. Unexpectedly, when the president was about to give a speech, two bullets hit him. The square suddenly became chaotic. Some people fled in panic, some rushed to the rostrum, and some took advantage of the chaos to cause trouble. The ensuing explosion completely destroyed this beautiful day. Through the perspectives of the female TV director, President Ashton, Barnes and several people related to the incident, the truth behind the bloody day was gradually restored...
