Joshua: The Devil's Child Joshua

Synopsis of Joshua: The Devil's Child

This is an excellent psychological thriller. Young couple Brad (played by Sam Rockwell) and Abby (played by Vera Farmiga) living in Manhattan welcomed their second child, Little Life. The birth brought great joy to the couple, and all the attention of the family revolved around her. However, as time passed, many strange accidents began to occur in the happy family, and cracks appeared in the relationship between husband and wife. A newly born baby girl was originally quiet and cute, but she cried for no reason in the middle of the night. Abby's hallucinations brought her to the verge of nervous breakdown, and the entire family was shrouded in a mysterious force. Finally Brad noticed that those suspicious situations were related to their 9-year-old son Joshua (Jacob Keegan). This child was praised by the teacher as being extremely smart in school and had a height higher than his peers. His IQ and mind are beyond the reach of adults, but on the surface, he loves and cares for his newborn sister just like his family members. Are these accidents done secretly or are they purely accidental? What do the various actions of Joshua under his calm appearance mean?
