Synopsis of BORDER

The young detective Ishikawa Ango (played by Shun Oguri) of the Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Section is a man who feels empty and lonely inside. When he was a patrolman, he caught the murderer near the scene and entered the criminal police team as he wished. This turning point in his life made him vaguely look forward to the occurrence of the case. However, this time when he was patrolling near the scene as usual, he was shot in the head by a mysterious man. Fortunately, Ishikawa finally survived from the brink of death. One night, a family of three was brutally murdered. Ishikawa, who had just returned to the team, rushed to the scene immediately with his boss Takuji Ichikura (played by Endo Kenichi) and his colleague Tachibana Yuma (played by Takashi Aoki).
