Synopsis of The Thin Man

Nick and Nora, a hilarious detective husband-and-wife team, always work together to investigate cases. This time they are working on the case of a missing inventor. The husband and wife team played by William Powell and Myrna Loy are the first successful on-screen couple in film history! The director of this film is W.S. VanDyke, who is known as "One OK" in the film industry. It only took him two weeks to shoot the film! The Chinese Huang Zongzhan is the photography director. The unique comedy and suspense style of this film has also become the ancestor of this type of film in the future. Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich adapted the screenplay from the novel by Dashiell Hammett. Five sequels were later filmed.
