Synopsis of The Visit

Single mother Loretta (played by Kathryn Hahn) fell in love with her English teacher when she was 19 years old. She later gave birth to two children, but her husband eventually left her. The failed marriage made Loretta's life a mess, and she also severed ties with her parents. After many years, the parents, who had not seen each other for a long time, contacted Loretta, hoping to rebuild their old relationship. Although the mother was unwilling to go, her daughter Becca (Olivia DeJonge) and her son Tyler (Ed O. Ed Oxenbould (Ed Oxenbould) wishes to let the children drive alone to another city to visit their grandfather (Peter McRobbie) and grandmother (Deanna Dunagan). Beka carries a camera with her, hoping to record every moment for her mother. Who would have thought that two children would actually record the darkness under the sun...
