Synopsis of Stage Mother

Set in the world of drag queens in San Francisco, it follows a conservative Texas church choir director who inherits her recently deceased son's San Francisco drag club and follows her heart, moving from Texas to San Francisco. Saving the club from bankruptcy surprised her conservative-minded husband and those close to him. In this noisy, dynamic new environment, she begins to find new meaning for her life and establishes a mother figure to her fellow performers, until an unexpected visit disrupts her peaceful life.
